From February 2 to 5 local time, Distributech International 2026 was successfully held at the San Diego Convention Center. As the world's leading exhibition for power transmission, distribution, and utility technologies, this year's event gathered energy companies, utility customers, and industry experts from across the Americas and around the globe. Wasion Holdings showcased its smart metering and distribution solutions, engaging in deep exchanges with industry partners centered on the grid modernization needs of the North American and broader American markets.

During the exhibition, Wasion’s technology-driven booth attracted large crowds. Centered on smart metering and the modernization of distribution infrastructure, the company hosted a series of professional technical activities, including the launch of the Aventa™ smart meter series, technical sessions on transformer energy efficiency, and regional energy management case studies, drawing extensive engagement from industry experts and utility customers.

Notably, Wasion officially launched its next-generation Aventa™ flagship smart meter series for the North American market at the exhibition. Specifically designed for AMI 2.0 application scenarios, the series aims to provide utility customers with secure, flexible, and efficient energy metering terminal solutions. By ensuring both metering reliability and system interoperability, it empowers customers to enhance deployment efficiency while reducing total life-cycle costs (TCO).

Wasion also highlighted its distribution transformers and High-Voltage AC Automatic Reclosers tailored for the North American market. The distribution transformer series features single-phase pole-mounted, single-phase pad-mounted, and three-phase pad-mounted units, which are widely applicable across both industrial and residential sectors. Not only do these products comply with premier North American industry standards—including ANSI, UL, and IEEE—but they also adhere to stringent quality requirements, providing utility customers with safe, reliable, stable, and flexible distribution support. These solutions are set to bolster the North American grid modernization process, helping to address aging infrastructure while significantly enhancing grid capacity.

Addressing the diverse needs of the American market, Wasion also shared key solutions for Latin America, including power AMI solutions, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and centralized metering schemes. These offerings assist local utility customers in tackling challenges such as metering system upgrades, grid resilience enhancement, and multi-energy synergetic management.

Leveraging over two decades of industry experience in energy metering and efficiency management, Wasion continues to follow global energy trends, increasing investment in local manufacturing and R&D. Wasion consistently provides smarter, more efficient, flexible, and secure energy solutions for North American and global customers. Looking ahead, Wasion will continue to work with partners to contribute the strength of Chinese enterprises to the digitalization of the power industry and the global energy transition process.
