On July 16th, Wasion’s sixth global production and R&D center, Wasion Hungary Kft. , celebrated its grand opening in Gödöllő, Hungary.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of György Gémesi, Mayor of Gödöllő, Ms. Wu Dan, a representative of the Chinese Embassy in Hungary, and important clients and guests from Hungary, Turkey, Austria, and Germany, among others. They gathered to witness this momentous occasion, extending their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Wasion Hungary.
Mr. Ji Wei, Chairman of Wasion Holdings, Mr. Ji Zhe, Chairman of Wasion Holdings International, and other board members and the executive management team attended the event. The ceremony was hosted by Mr. Liu Peng, President of Wasion Hungary Kft.
Wasion Hungary is situated in Gödöllő, known as the "City of Royal Palaces," covering an area of 23,518 square meters and just 30 kilometers from the Hungarian capital, Budapest. It serves as Wasion’s regional headquarters in Europe, featuring highly automated and intelligent production lines focused on manufacturing electric energy meters and other energy measurement and efficiency management products. The annual production capacity of smart meters exceeds 2 million units, with a localized team management approach significantly enhancing delivery and integrated service capabilities for European customers.
At the start of the ceremony, Mayor György Gémesi and Ms. Wu Dan were invited to deliver speeches. They highly praised the establishment of Wasion Hungary for its positive impact on the local economy and expressed confidence in Wasion’s continuous innovation and industry leadership in the global market. In recent years, the relationship between China and Hungary has reached new heights under the Belt and Road Initiative, resulting in fruitful cooperation in infrastructure, technological innovation, and financial investment, bringing tangible benefits to both nations.
